Travel Tips

A few things to know when visiting Dubrovnik and Cavtat.

Dubrovnik Old Town is entirely pedestrianised.

Many streets are historic stone, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Euros are used throughout Croatia.

The Adriatic Sea is famous for its incredibly clear water, so if you have time we highly recommend swimming while you are here.

Weather in September

Early September in Dubrovnik is typically warm, sunny and perfect for exploring.

Daytime temperatures are usually around 25 to 30°C, with cooler evenings by the sea.

The sea is still beautifully warm at this time of year and ideal for swimming, boat trips and beach days.
